The Passion of 2023

A slightly different view of the cars.
What a great turnout it was. Great thanks to Greg Peck and Ed Piner especially who conjoled and nagged people
tp enter.
One of the best fields in a long time. The racing was great over the day with some great dicing particular Matt Nash, Andrew Horne and Dalan Holton for overall honours. There was close racing right through the field.
Unfortunately a few mechanical gremlins crept into a few cars. Ben van der Westhuizen, Josh Dovey, Ian Scofield,
AJ Kernick all falling with mechanical maladies. Hope not serious enough t o keep them from the next round.
Having gone through some previous pictures of race meetings I came across quite a few cars that have for some reason or other disappeared off the Radar. We need to find these gents and get them back. Also the later fords as they have there own class so internal rivalries can recommence.
Not sure how long we are going to Mr. broken back Nash around. Meeting his match with Kangeroo bureaucracy!
It is still a wonder to see these cars of our youth (PRE 1980) of course. Every car that joins always keeps us smiling.
Nice to see the "the Guru" Ian Hebblethwaite up and about.Hope to see more of Ian in the future.
Hope all will be around for the 15th April races.
